Issue with scores
Please remove the automatic hiding of posts with negative scores.

It is being abused by asshats who don't like to see their models here to hide posts, instead of using the report function. It's also wildly unreliable, because a score a -1 or -2 does NOT mean the post is bad.

Also, us mods really need better tools to deal with spam accounts or spam in general than deleting every comment manually.

I bet they're the same people/person reporting posts.

Reports don't really matter. They don't hide posts, and reports need to be manually acted on.

However, low scores automatically hide posts.

So, that feature needs to be removed, and moderation tools need to improved. I'm a mod and I can't do jack shit to stop this.

On the one hand, it is kind of nice to be able to quickly hide those guro pictures some butthurt asshats keep reposting here.

On the other, there's no way to tell ahead of time if it's one of those guro pictures or just a model someone's trying to downvote ahead of time, which kind of defeats the point.

I'd rather people have to report shitty guro spam than asshats abuse the system to hide legitimate posts.

And also, the spam wouldn't be an issue if us mods had more tools.

Right now?

I can't ban users. I certainly can't IP ban users. I can't mass delete a user's posts. I can't even see a list of all reported posts or comments.

You know what I CAN do, as a mod?

Delete comments or posts. One at a time, and only ones I stumble across.

It's... practically useless.

how about disableing the comment section so that way no one will say anything or at least limit comments to 30 to 50 letters.

otherwise badstards will type whatever they please.

sadly that is not possible, as it would require rewriting the booru engine, which we, and mmda cannot do.
You can however go to
http://mmda.booru.org/index.php?page=account-options and set the threshold for posts and or comments to a negative value
-20 till -999 should do just fine.

thats also a big no-no, especially since links get normally pasted into the comment section
