CM3D2 to MMD Tutorial
Hello,

I am new here and I would like ask if anyone could make a fairly detailed step by step tutorial about how to convert a Custom Maid 3D 2 character into an MMD model.

I'm not entirely sure of what to do on my own.

Lusterz made an video tutorial, but i cant find it right now.

Here is what I usually do:
-make a export for clothed,underwear,nude
-edit the nude:
-Use the standart bone plugin
-set the parent bones for bones where its -1 (usually the headwear)
-move the materials: "skin (Instance)","Facexxx_Mouth (Instance)","Facexxx_Skin (Instance)" to top. they should be in that order from the top after that
-add breast physics
-take the clothes from the other exports and add them to the nude export
-check for clipping
-make morphs to remove the clothes
-hide the bones that shouldnt be manipulated
-add bones and morphs to the displey pane

mmda laid out the process perfectly. But I'll also link my stuff here if it helps make things more clear.

My cm3d2 to pmx preset files (drag them in and adjust for boob physics, groove bone, etc: http://tstorage.info/p2lm3cglr5ux

What's missing/different from my guide:
I don't use semi-standard bone plugin.
Attaching clothing/accessories through parent bone allocation (you may need to also adjust weights to parts such as nipple piercings).
"After adding the 'groove bone', you need to make the "グルーブ” (groove bone) parent to "センター” (center bone) and then the "Bip01" parent bone to "グルーブ”. Motion creators use this to give models their 'bounciness' primarily seen in dance motions."

I had a bit of a problem with the export feature now.

For certain models, when exported, the facial expressions will only reach a certain degree of completion. For example, when I export certain models and try to execute the blinking facial morph, the animation will stop half way through what it did in CM3D2 even when the slider has been dragged to the end.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how I might fix this problem?

I had this problem when I used the mod sliders to make the eyes bigger than the maximum of the normal sliders. the only way to fix it would be to modify the morphs per hand I guess.
