I just wanted to say how grateful I am for this booru. It's really hard to find decent MMD models and with the help of this site I've expanded my collection.

I made them a little bigger, from 150 to 200 now.
Only works for new posts though.

Sorry leyuen but I had to revert to 150px for now.

The reason is that I cant currently change the CSS which results in the pictures overlapping :/

Is it acceptable to upload unfinished models?
I put the question to the forum, in the interest of facilitating open discussion.

It's my opinion, and perhaps the opinion of others, that the front page is inundated with half done SFM ports and SFM models. It is an issue, because to go through each and every one and assign them a tag in common to more easily blacklist them in user settings, is not only an undue effort, but speaks to the lack of effort in their posting.

It's beginning to look like deviantart in terms of dumping of WIPs the uploader personally has no intention or no ability to finish.

I don't mind unfinished or work in progress uploads since everything can be useful.

But you are right that they should be tagged correctly.
This should be the uploaders responsibility, but everyone should feel free to add or change tags.

If I convert some stray obj files to pmx, will that slide if there's a remote chance someone will find it useful? Where is the line drawn?

And what constitutes a work in progress? If a work in progress is simply importing from smd and exporting to pmx, material correcting and then waiting for strangers to provide the remaining 99% of work as those uploads are, then I'm afraid we won't see eye to eye, because there needs to be some semblance of quality control.

If you export those model back to smd, you're miles closer to using them in SFM comfortably than you are in MMD, so I'm not sure how you're finding them useful.
