It goes way beyond just wanting people to remember the name.

The modeler essentially cares for their own models so fucking much, they want others to put in at least some effort to get the models.
So in their head, anyone who succesfully gets the model has proven how much they value the model.
which is absolutely autistic and ridiculous.
