this model set keps getting updated and released when onlly 4 / 30 of them work

They all need cleanup of files etc, but it works.

@archmage88 you have to use Winrar to extract them, and inside of winrar use the 932 ANSI/OEM Japanese name codification
If even after that they still crash your MMD then your computer isn't capable enough

@teatea In the files there is a text document with the password you need when extracting. It's WellIWonderWhoIAm, the name of the guy posting the models.

I also cannot get most of these to work. I have extracted them according to instruction but it makes no difference. Running MMD in Japanese locale doesn't make a difference either. My computer is very powerful and not the issue - it never crashes, just says it cannot read the files when I try to load the model. I am using VR version if that makes a difference

@zaorish It does make a difference. These models were not made for VR at all. Try opening them in normal MMD and see if you have the same issue.

Also, check the file sizes on the extracted files. If you haven't put in the password correctly, it will show all the files as 0 bytes.
